Does my child have to attend all of the days?

That’s totally up to you! Your child will get the most benefit from attending every day of camp. Some days of camp do build on each other, but your child will still be able to participate along with their peers if they need to miss a day. However, camp registration fees are set and are not reduced for missing sessions.

Can my child attend more than one camp?

Yes! Kids can attend one session of Sound Detectives and one session of Speech Stars. Although some games may be repeated, both camps have different learning materials and different focuses. Camp registration fees will need to be paid for both camps.

It is not recommended that kids attend both Tuesday and Thursday sessions of the same camp, however, because Tuesday and Thursday sessions will have the same content. For example, the Tuesday session of Speech Stars will be identical to the Thursday session of Speech Stars.

Can I stay in the building during camp?

Yes, there will be a separate area for parents to sit if they wish to stay during the camp. However, it’s important to note that some children may be distracted by having their parents visible. If your child is repeatedly coming over to you throughout the session, please consider stepping outside so they are able to fully participate.
