Meet the Owner
Word Wizards is owned and operated by Leah Chamberlin, M.A., CCC-SLP. Leah is a full-time speech-language pathologist in the public school setting. She is passionate about not only helping kids maintain their speech and language skills over the summer, but also continuing their growth outside of school. While Word Wizards Summer Camp is not speech therapy, Leah incorporates many concepts of speech therapy into fun and engaging camp activities.
Schedule a Consultation
Consultations with Ms. Leah are completely optional.
For those choosing between Sound Detectives and Speech Stars, consultations may be used to help determine which camp would be best or to provide a more individualized camp experience for the learner. Knowing what would be most beneficial for the learner to work on ahead of time will allow us to make sure the most appropriate materials are available.
For those looking at Lunch Bunch, a consultation may help the learner get to know Ms. Leah and have a smoother start to camp.
Consultations are 15-20 minutes and can be in-person or virtual. The consultation fee is $15. It is non-refundable, but at the end of the consultation, you will receive a coupon code for $15 off any camp registration, which you can apply at checkout when you register for camp.
